About Megan Morales

I am self-motivated and strive to be the best at any position I am given. I am passionate about learning and improving my knowledge and will do whatever is necessary to make myself successful. In 2017, I was hired at Five Guys as a basic crew member, and four years and four promotions later, I would become a General Manager all while pursuing a teaching degree full-time. However, I've always dreamed of finding a job that requires problem-solving and math, whether that be in a classroom or in an office, and left Five Guys in pursuit of that. In 2022, I stumbled upon Phoenix Metals, which checked all my boxes. I am now working my dream job where I get to show off my passion for teaching and math every day. With my pink TI-84 calculator in tow, I have single-handedly streamlined multiple processes at my job such as creating a 30+ page training guide for my position and creating formulaic programs in my calculator to make the work more efficient and less error-prone. Within my first year at Phoenix Metals, I have already been promoted and trained two colleagues using the training guide I created. For the first time in my life, I enjoy coming to work every day and look forward to continuing my career here.
