About Megan Murphy

I’m a mission-driven program manager, storyteller, and military spouse who believes in creating space for transformation, whether that’s around a campfire or across a spreadsheet. After my husband was injured in combat, I became intimately familiar with the messy, beautiful, often overwhelming journey of life after military service. I channeled that experience into a decade of advocacy, education, and program development. At Camp Southern Ground, I lead a nationally recognized transition program that has served over 400 veterans. I manage every aspect of our five-day residential experience from intake and logistics to curriculum delivery and post-program follow-up, ensuring participants feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. Our curriculum integrates CliftonStrengths, the Enneagram, and Gallup’s 6 areas of wellbeing, helping participants reconnect with purpose and direction. Before this, I spent several years in the legal field, where I learned to listen deeply, communicate clearly, and guide people through complex decisions. That foundation shaped my strength as a systems-thinker and developer of others, whether I’m mapping workflows, mentoring staff, or facilitating personal breakthroughs. I’m passionate about work that blends heart and executio, especially in the nonprofit, education, or human services sectors.
