About Megan Ringo

I currently work as a Research Program Manager for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health for the PROTEA research team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I oversee the Addiction Medicine programming for our team, both in research (psychedelic clinical trials and health implementation) and outreach (clinician and community outreach) capacities. With a strong ability to multi-task, track multiple projects, manage grant applications, and build up teams, I have become a confident leader and coach in the research space. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Master's in Leadership Education and a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology. My liberal arts experience and knowledge of research processes make me a strong leader to build and develop interdisciplinary teams. I also volunteer as a Chapter Advisory Board member for the Gamma Tau chapter of Kappa Delta, serving at the VP-CAB. I assist with student development, support, and chapter growth.
