About Megan Turner

A highly motivated, proactive honor alumna from Alabama State University. During college I gained knowledge in research, management, quality improvement, economics, finance, and technical writing. I hold a certificate in Maternal and Child Health and have completed the CITI training in research ethics. I am passionate and a quick learner. As a Health Data Analyst, I collect, clean, and interpret data sets in order to answer a question or solve a problem. I also, perform regular quality and validation assessments on patient data to verify accuracy. I utilize different data sources for analyses. As a Health Information Specialist, I regularly operate a large master patient index and electronic health record system. I organize and manage health information data. Identity management and access are key in this role. As an Army Veteran, I have gained great leadership abilities and team building skills. I have honed my critical thinking skills as well. I have develop resilience which prepared me for various task whether in a leadership position or a team member.
