About Megan Walker
I originally went to school for Biology but found difficulty getting a job in the Portland area. While soul searching, several friends who were nurses or nursing students suggested I look into the field. I loved the idea of using people and communication skills, science and compassion all in one career. A career with many job and growth opportunities. I decided to become a CNA, in order to make certain this was the right career. It did as promised and I feel in love with it. I have just finished my BSN but as a CNA, I need to have a job lined up in order to take my boards. Once I pass my boards, I can no longer work as a CNA, and will need and want to transition right into my new career as an RN.
