About Megha Roy

With 6 years of experience in creative strategy through the lenses of research writing and art direction I enjoy building worlds and telling stories that evoke emotion and rally for change. I’ve worked as a freelance media strategist for the Labour Party. Led my own creative team at a not-for-profit based in Manila and New Delhi that raised funds for trans activists in South India malaria prevention in the Philippines and reforestation projects in the Himalayas. I’ve been a copywriter at a boutique agency strategising and writing for over 20+ global and local brands that include Adidas Originals FILA Hyatt Andaz and Noon UAE among others. I also have experience as a creative researcher and stylist for a major sneaker and streetwear label in India a radio show host and a freelance writer for a number of publications. After completing an MA in Cultural Studies with additional modules in International Security and Political Communication I hope to be able to bring my unconventional experience and multivariate thinking to a role that prioritises and promotes diversity and cultural equality through progressive policy branding or research.
