About Meghan Davis

I have been working in the mental and behavioral health field for almost 10 years. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Louisiana, a National Board Certified Counselor, a member of the ACA, and I am a qualified psychometric rater for clinical research scales. I am a proud graduate of Louisiana Tech University, I hold a Master of Arts in clinical and mental health counseling and guidance and obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in family and child studies specializing in family and childhood development. I currently specialize in pharmaceutical research on clinical trials with a mental/ behavioral health indication. In the past I have worked with the state of Louisiana in addictions counseling, served as a floor unit lead in a behavioral health inpatient facility, and conducted individual, group and family therapy. My personal experiences and various volunteer work with our community have allowed me to hone my ability to empathize with others, effectively communicate with others, and treat others with respect for their dignity, rights, and specific needs. It is an honor to serve the often stigmatized and underserved community of those living with mental and behavioral health disorders.
