About Meghan Hunter

In the summer of 2020, I was dismayed by the number of deaths occurring in nursing homes. Both of my parents ended up having surgery that summer, so I took a lot of time off work to care for them. I realized then how important at-home health care is and started researching the industry. The opportunity to join the team at Caring Hearts of the Valley afforded me the opportunity to use my business acumen to build up a company that provides much needed services to the elderly, disabled and infirm. Since taking over as administrator, the company has a new brand name - Nightingale Care - learn more at to this point was not a linear path - I started my career as a rocket engineer at United Technology’s Pratt & Whitney, where I developed a solid analytical foundation. A shift to brand management after business school led me to Unilever, where I worked with cross-functional teams to communicate brand insights worldwide. At CFI Group, a global leader in customer satisfaction programs, I was deeply involved in qualitative and quantitative research and design. I created a large-scale satisfaction reporting mechanism for thousands of customers and employees. At The Martin Group, I support business development, SOW and contract negotiation and market research.I earned a Master of Business Administration, Emphasis in Marketing & Strategy from the University of Michigan Business School, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
