About Meghna Jain

Marvels are created, when one follows Passion. I became passionate when I saw the floor plans of my 'to be built' house. And I started following it, when I began to pursue Architecture. But the journey is long to create Marvels, hence to move towards perfection, I further chose to learn Construction Project Management. Five years of learning Architecture honed me with creativity, visualizing skills and ways to plan spaces. During the course, I did an internship for six months under a design and consultancy firm- Sunrise Design Consortium, which is located in New Delhi. There I learnt the ways to design projects with space constraints and consulting with clients. Later on, I began to learn Construction Project Management, which proved out to be very beneficial as I got to know the critical problems faced by large- scale projects and their mitigation strategy. Better I say, my journey got started here only. I got much influenced by the planning strategies and techniques used in such projects. Hence, I engaged myself in learning applied measures and techniques. And to have a close look at high rise building construction, I did the summer internship in Project Management and Consultancy department of CBRE- Bangalore. Two months reinforced one year knowledge that I had gained in the curriculum. I got hands- on experience in Drawing Management, QS works and learnt insight of planning and development model. I am looking for an opportunity where I can utilize imbibed knowledge to make growth in the both, myself and organization.
