About Mehak Merchant

I am a passionate, hard-working, and driven 2L student, at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, and growing up travelling and exploring new places has been an influential part of my personal and professional development. First living in Vancouver and now, since moving to Toronto, both large bustling busy cities, there are always nooks and crannies for one to explore. Discovering new ideas, new ways to understand the world and new experiences has been a large part of who I am. Most vacations, or long weekends, I enjoy spending time with new people, and pushing myself to embrace new experiences outside of my comfort zone. This has taught me the value of growth, critical thinking analysis, adapting quickly to a situation, leading by example, and most importantly, remaining determined and open-minded when faced with adversity. My passion for constant growth and learning has enabled me to pursue a diverse set of work, academic and community experiences, that I only hope to expand in the future while working to push my boundaries, and the boundaries of my work.
