Interested in molecular diagnostic tools for health and social care. Over 15 years of experience in human genetics/genomics, identification of specific genetic markers, their translation into clinical application, development of genomic technologies and bioinformatics. Experienced in handling all responsibilities related to a laboratory and business function including establishing pipelines and protocols negotiations and marketing. Key skill sets include coordinated operations for the Department of pathology at Karolinska University Hospital initiative focusing on solid tumor diagnostic assays, transcriptome sequencing and gene expression analysis. Research and diagnostics experience: − Experience of applying genetics/genomics approaches to understand disease biology, prognosis, improve diagnostic accuracy and reproducibility in oncology − Experienced in analysis and interpretation of data from SNP analysis − Provided diagnostic service and issued reports for various oncology conditions − Experienced in clinical assay development − Work across multiple disciplines and liaise with clinicians and technical staff I am indeed proud that my experience and collaboration with our great medical expertise have resulted in over 50 scientific publications. My main focus now is to establish user-friendly pipelines to profile the human transcriptome. Also to improve pre-analysis steps in RNA-seq to be able to generate data to base important clinical decisions.
