About Mehran Karimi

As a higher education professional with extensive experience in curriculum systems, instructional technology, and academic operations, I specialize in building efficient, data-informed solutions that enhance student success and institutional effectiveness. My background spans curriculum analysis, instructional design, and faculty support, along with catalog development, database management, SQL reporting, HTML content updates, and data analysis, ensuring accurate, accessible, and well-maintained curricular and scheduling data. I lead the implementation of technological tools that support instructional workflows, collaborating across departments to streamline processes and ensure compliance with state and accreditation standards. As a liaison between the college and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, I align curriculum and scheduling systems with evolving state policies. My goal is to bridge the gap between academic strategy and technical systems to support long-term institutional success.
