As an accomplished and seasoned professional, I bring an extensive background of success in the field of Information Technology, along with the qualifications which are required to make a positive impact. I offer a combination of unique and sought after skills, comprising of a business and technical aptitude which I have developed through a lengthy and rewarding career. My accomplishments and work history have taken me from the international private sector to a non-profit international organisation. I have extensive experience in Project Management, particularly in large-scale IT transformation programmes. This is supported by over several years of roles in business analysis, leadership and project management across various industries including Financial Services, Global Travel Distribution, and Technology having worked for blue chip companies such as Sun Microsystems, ING, and Amadeus Travel. The large part of my career has been with the World Food Programme (WFP) where I have been responsible for building’s WFP’s corporate beneficiary and transfer management platform, SCOPE. As a result I know WFP's operational field processes quite well, and have attended several field missions and emergency deployments for the purpose of building solutions and testing them for our field offices that are located in technologically constrained environments. I have an extensive working knowledge in the domain areas of cash-based transfers, digital assistance, digital identity, transfer management, enrolment management, biometrics, and solutions for offline scenarios. I am an encouraging manager and analytical problem-solver with talents for team building, leading and motivating, as well as excellent business relations aptitude and relationship-building skills. I am proficient in using independent decision-making skills and sound judgment to positively impact organisational success. I am truly dedicated to bringing impact in the humanitarian context through innovative technologies.
