About Mei-Lien Converse

I have experience with many different types of design work and have especially enjoyed producing effective but simple designs. From promotional content and marketing materials for web, to weekly grocery ads or posters for print. In the past, I have helped within the marketing or advertising departments, so I know how to work within a team and get work done alone. In the past, I have worked for many start-ups and enjoy the start-up community. I graduated from Buena Vista University with Graphic Design major and Media Studies minor but I feel like any day that you don't learn something new is a missed opportunity. I am ready to utilize my skills and broaden my knowledge with any opportunity that I can get. In addition to being hard-working, patient and outgoing, I have a great sense of humor and am able to work with a variety of people. I work calmly under pressure and am proactive to prevent problems from happening. I have a positive attitude if things do go wrong and am always resourceful to solve problems that occur. I am seeking the right job as I relocated to Los Angeles and would love a graphic design job that I can fall in love with everyday.
