About Meilo Seiter

In my childhood room, Legos were the building blocks of my world. In college, I realized concepts in physics were the building blocks of the universe. Physics taught me patience in learning complicated and unintuitive subjects like quantum mechanics. I realized that being comfortable not knowing is the first step to solving hard problems. Despite my love for physics, something was always missing; I wasn't building anything anymore. Equipped with my problem-solving skills, I dove headfirst into software development. My three-year coding journey started with small and practical projects-Girlfriend couldn't decide what to eat? I built a random meal selection GUI in python-Needed to sort excel data? I wrote a python script to automate the process-Have too many tabs open all the time? I used Javascript to build a Chrome extension to add tabs to savable sessions. My toolbelt now includes full-stack development and data analysis for NASA. I have picked up web frameworks like Django and Express, and done deployment with AWS and Heroku. I have built projects in Python, Java, C/C++, and JavaScript. I have used both NoSQL databases like MongoDB and SQL databases like PostgresSQL and SQLite. I have additionally employed Redis in my projects.
