About Mekuria Getachew

I am a young Ethiopian Engineer with a passion and drive to work as a humanitarian. I possess a mindset free from self-limiting thoughts and negativity about life. I believe in the power of positivity and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I have about several years experience working in the field of water and sanitation. I have worked on projects with different agencies including government institutions, private companies and International Non governmental Organizations, and various donor agencies such as USAID,ECHO,CLWR,EHF and GPE. My key areas of expertise are Field Work and management. My experience includes project management and supervision, design and implementation, Water Resource Management, construction supervision, monitoring and evaluation, and emergency response. During my career, i also managed teams and mentored staff, while I was completing my graduate and postgraduate studies. I have BSc in Hydraulic and Water resource Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in WASH.
