I have had the extreme privilege of working in the medical field as a Physician Assistant for over 18 years now. I feel fortunate to have spent all of that time in rural areas of Idaho and sometimes very rural settings in Alaska where access to medical care can be limited. It is such a wonderful experience to get to know the people in small towns and villages and their families. I find it very fulfilling to be able to serve them as a medical provider in all aspects of medicine. I believe strongly in, and enjoy rural medicine, with all of its challenges, logistic struggles, economic and cultural considerations.
