The Story of Unleashed Biz I have been a small business owner most of my life. I have started and owned many businesses in the last 30+ years and love free enterprise. People have asked how I ended up starting an event business called Unleashed BIZ. As a free enterprise thinker, I have always known the phrase “find a need and fill it”. With the downturn in the economy that most small businesses have felt (me included), I realized that the rules of business have changed. What worked in the past, might not work today. Business has become more competitive. Most small business people are not sure what to do in the new economy. I am passionate about learning and sharing what I have learned with others. Now the work begins. My friend Lynn agreed to do all the graphics and website for free, as a favor to me. I found sponsors that believe in what I was doing, and willing to write a check to help underwrite the costs of putting on the event. I went door to door, business to business selling tickets.
