Proven over 28 years in Strategy, Brand (inc. major global re-brands), Marketing, Culture, Communications, People (HR), Talent, Transformation, and M&A. With a successful track record in diverse businesses and sectors, I use creativity, determination and resilience to deliver meaningful business outcomes. It's been a privilege to be part of so many journeys to build dynamic organizations, grow talent and leaders, reposition brands, transform organizations and shift cultures in fast paced environments. I have significant M&A experience with numerous acquisitions, integrations and preparing organizations and brands for sale. For Ligentia, the acquisition of VGL Group in October 2022, to further secure Europe. As a member of the CPA Global ExCo, executed two major financing events. In 2017, a PE sale from Cinven to LGP, and in October 2020, CPAG was acquired by Clarivate (NYSE:CLVT) in an all-stock transaction to move from PE to publicly listed. The deals represented a significant growth in value with Cinven's acquisition price of £950m ($1.2bn) in 2012, to LGP & Partners’ acquisition price of £2.3bn ($3.1bn) in 2017, to reach a LGP exit price of £5.0bn ($6.8bn) in October 2020 with the acquisition by Clarivate. Prior to this, and amongst other deals; the global sale of Williams Lea to Deutsche Post in 2006 and the sale of the Australian listed software & services firm, Talent2 (ASX:TWO), to private US-based, Allegis Group in 2012. My belief is that people are at the heart of organizations and that combining businesses is as much about the hearts and minds of people than it is about the technical streams. I am passionate about transformation focusing on purpose, culture, brand, sustainability, CX, and talent to unlock value by empowering people, building engagement, driving innovation, and ultimately improving performance. I am focused on the cultural and organizational change required by current accelerated societal forces to develop organizational health and fitness to create long-lasting, innovative business models, brands, and cultures that are relevant today.
