As a senior NHS Improvement manager, with a wealth of operational and improvement experience, I am currently delivering on national policy, working alongside executives, to implement a culture and system of continuous improvement based in Lean. I lead across lines of accountability, relying on my negotiation and persuasion skills to inspire and motivate. I provide improvement training, support and guidance to those that seek it or need it. I routinely use advanced analytical skills, applying high level critical thinking to interrogate information to draw appropriate conclusions. I am very competent at delivering complex information to large senior audiences and have presented nationally. I have a passion for the “people” element of redesign, recognising the importance of “Humanistic” system leadership skills. I enjoy networking and am a member of the NHS “Q” Improvement community. I am an innovative and agile systems leader with a self-belief to handle any circumstance in a calm, considered and effective way. I prefer a mentoring\coaching approach adjusting my leadership style accordingly. I lead by example and set ambitious standards for myself and those around me.
