About Melanie Hale

I truly enjoy to stay busy and work to my full potential. I have noticed in the last few years that I don't necessarily take the easiest path, but the most challenging path because I want to stretch my knowledge and grasp new concepts. I have not started any career or job that puts me into the doors of event planning, but I know I will get there either through persistent hard work. I do, although, have experience in manual labor. My dad owns a business of fire protection. This means, fire sprinkler systems, fire risers, fire pumps, etc. He bids, constructs, installs, and repairs all systems. It might seems like not a big deal to those who are not familiar with the equipment, but being in the Phoenix valley heat, lifting heavy 15 foot pipe above your head on top of a 3 story lift is hard work. I have leaned how to manage myself physically with working with my dad. On the other hand, I am a wild people person. In high school I planned small parties at my house and built a sense for the flow of events. When the party seemed dull, I would whip out a new adventure. When the party was crazy, I took a mental note of how we got there so I could remember what to do for the future. This then made me detail oriented when it came to planning. In my church we practice youth leadership in different areas. There was a time when I was in charge of the dance activities at a summer camp. It was new to the camp but with previous knowledge of how to keep the environment alive, it was a successful activity that was thoroughly enjoyed.
