About Melanie Jackson

As a human resources and communication professional, I've dedicated years to understanding what motivates employees. I've worked hard to develop successful training programs, enroll employees in benefits, and hire personnel. I love working with people, and am passionate about my work, but I'm also passionate about writing! I have published dozens of nationally distributed employee newsletters and numerous freelance media relations. ​I have lived and worked in Utah for my entire life and love watching it grow! I have been lucky enough to have it all-career, family, and education. I worked full-time while earning my B.A. at Weber State University with a double major in English and Organizational Communication. Now that my education is complete, I look forward to combining it with my extensive Human Resources and Training career experience and taking on new challenges. ​I am educated and experienced, but perhaps more importantly, I am passionate and professional. I am looking for an employer that trusts me enough to throw me in the deep end. I excel at innovative thinking under pressure, and I enjoy taking responsibility for tasks and projects.
