About Melanie Keller

I’m a Laboratory Scientist with 10 years of experience in medical laboratory science, particularly in molecular methods. The Spectrum of techniques and field comprises- Next-generation- sequencing and Sanger sequencing - Quantitative real-time PCR (single and multi-plex)- Evaluation and adaption of molecular genetic methods for formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue samples - Immunohistochemistry: Validation and verification of antibodies for routine diagnostics - Fluorescence-in-situ-hybridisation (FISH) for detection of gene amplification and translocations - Bio-Safety Level 3 experience - Cell-culture work - Microbiology, Molecular Pathology, Haematology, Transfusion Medicine and clinical Chemistry Colleagues know me as a reliable team member. I’m highly motivated and interested in the success of my projects. I have a M.Sc. specialization in Molecular Technologies, a B.Sc. specialization in Molecular Bioanalytic and an apprenticeship as Medical Laboratory Technologist.
