About Melanie Oakley

My passion is to help people. My root career in sales and customer service helped brokers obtain financing to put people into home ownership. I built business bases over 70%, in software and financial fields and maintained relationships for continued business. Conducted training sessions regularly in addition to weekly drop in's for one on one mortgage application assessments. I sold prime, sub-prime and speciality programs including jumbo and construction loans. I began a start up sole proprietorship in 2004 for real estate investing of single family homes. Maintained roles in research/marketing, project management, sales and accounting. Dissolved in 2010, returned to school for a career change. Started in the surgical arena, now continuing in Healthcare and moving into diagnostic medical sonography.I have been a trainer in my fields and also a mentor. I enjoy a team environment but also self disciplined to work independently. I take instruction but will also take the lead. I am skilled in directing and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.I maintain a positive attitude and have excellent skills in communication, written and oral, professionalism and work ethic.
