About Melanie Petcoff

I am a seasoned indexer, translator, educator, and administrator with over 19 years of teaching experience and 8 years of administrative experience. I have taught at the elementary, middle school, high school, undergraduate, graduate, and professional level, including English for language learners, German language and literature, gender and sexuality studies, and pedagogy. Additionally, I have developed culturally-responsive elementary curricula, mentored teachers at both the K-12 and university level, served as the administrative director of academic programs and research centers, as well as facilitated cultural competency and anti-oppression trainings and workshops. Committed to diversity, equity, youth advocacy, and community engagement, my passion lies in accessible, rigorous, and engaging educational opportunities for all.
