I have an enthusiasm for creating better business: Researching and identifying best practice Undertaking gap analysis Presenting new ideas I enjoy a challenge, using critical thinking and gap analysis to problem risks and validate controls. I have worked on the largest Westpac Group project, being the liaison between the project and the external assurance providers. I was also responsible for the final quality gate control. In my role as Second Line Risk Manager, I conducted thematic Deep Dives into back office operations, presenting gaps in process and opportunities for improvement. Other specialties including researching legislation and regulation for consideration in Compliance Assessments and conducting second line reviews of Data Analysis. Whilst at BAE Systems Australian, I was responsible for delivering global and national audits. Including: Risk Management Conduct Contracts. I was required to manage teams internationally from the USA, UK and KSA to deliver consistent results, consolidated into Global Audit Reports. Examples of other skills includes- Development of the Internal Audit plan and Enterprise Risk Management strategy for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and local councils whilst at Ernst & Young- Facilitating and updating the Risk Management plans at the Executive, Management and project level using Resolver Ballot at SA Water- Identifying risks and mitigating controls across various projects at Savings and Loans Credit Union- Developing the Risk Management Framework for the Mito Foundation and convincing the Board of the benefits of developing a risk management committee. I'm currently volunteering as: Chair of the Mito Foundation Risk Committee Run Director for our local Parkrun. Other volunteering roles included- Treasurer and Committee Member for the Blackwood Community Child Care Centre - Auditor for the South Australian Veteran's Golfer's Association
