About Melanie Simpson
I am currently working as ADON and nursing supervisor in a growing SNF rehab, caring for and getting to know medically complex individuals and their families. I am always striving to expand on the patient centered care philosophy and would love any opportunity to bring that level of care to the community I serve. I have spent a year and a half in Japan working with the US Army’s child youth program; where I have instructed the health, wellness, and life skills classes. Prior to that, I worked in Florida as a medsurg RN in a busy LTACH where I gained experience working with complex patients and a multidisciplinary team. Before I got my license in May of 2016, I worked as a CNA and a medical assistant from 2004-2016. A passion for health has always been with me and continues to grow each year. My goal is to focus more on education of patients and families to improve outcomes. I am excited to hear from potential employers.
