I have been a nurse for 21 years, and began my career in med/surg gynecology/oncology and chemotherapy. After four years, I transitioned to obstetrics and found my passion for helping moms through the birth process. I have worked at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA for the last 12 years as a labor and delivery nurse and truly love my job. My passion for creating the best birth experience for moms led me to launch a new company, BirThings, LLC. I have designed the first ever transforming labor gown, The Loula, to better support and comfort the moms I serve. I am a wife and mother to two boys, serve on my community HOA and volunteer at our local animal shelter.
