About Melba Leonard

WHAT I DO: I build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with prospects and clients on the common ground of audiovisual technical support, technology, and production management for creative live events. I design, procure, implement, and advance to production - lighting, audio, video, and staging for conferences, corporate meetings, award galas, and educational workshops.WHO I WORK WITH: I partner with Meeting Planners, Event Planners, Show Producers, and the occasional novice who has been tossed the task of pulling together a great live event. WHY IT WORKS: When you partner with Higher Ground Events, Inc during the early stages of planning for a live event you leverage with a team of event production professionals that will manage the intricate details of audiovisual logistics, support the mission and goal of the event, and lead with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to maximize on the event's ROI.WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT: HGEinc is more than a rental house of AV equipment. In fact, we are not even that.we are service providers. We understand that in todays technology driven world, no longer will meeting and event attendees respond passively to whatever is presented. Attendees expect to have their senses engaged. HGEinc supports the planner in procuring and implementing AV solutions and staging elements that are a win-win to the goal for the event and the expectations of the attendees
