Melba Smith prides herself on being responsible, dependable, efficient, assertive, and driven despite any challenges that arise. She takes pride in being the first generation college graduate in her family. Despite financial and health challenges that arose, Melba fought hard to graduate cum laude with a Bachelors of Science concentrating in Sport & Leisure Management with a minor in Dance from the University of Memphis. Melba has built her education and experience with many roles specializing in customer service and relationship building. From sales associate, cashier, to bartender/waitress, Melba loves interacting with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. She has obtained leadership roles working with people in every age range. Melba is a natural born leader with great oral and written communication skills. She's strives to inspire and motivate youth to achieve their upmost goals. One of her greatest achievements was when she coached and choreographed two dance teams. Currently Melba is looking for a opportunity in the sports industry to expand upon her previous sports education and to build experience in something that she is very passionate in.
