About Melchor Gamarro

Engineering was my starting point. But what truly drives me is helping technological solutions reach the right customers with the right commercial approach. For over 20 years, I have led commercial teams —both in sales and procurement— across demanding industrial sectors such as electric motors, power quality, solar energy and, more recently, green hydrogen. This dual perspective has allowed me to negotiate complex contracts from both sides of the table, deeply understanding the needs and concerns of clients, suppliers and strategic partners. At Abengoa, during the pre-insolvency stage, I managed to keep critical suppliers operational while negotiating outstanding debt. At Longi, I helped consolidate the company’s global leadership in solar modules by contributing strategic insight to key customers. At Ohmium, I played a key role in positioning its PEM electrolyzer solution in Southern Europe.Today, I focus on supporting both renewable energy project developers and technology providers —including those in energy storage, solar, hydrogen and power-to-x— to succeed in the European market. While I don’t yet have direct experience in storage, I’m actively building knowledge in this fast-moving segment to continue delivering value.I believe in leading with purpose, teaching by example, and building long-term relationships based on trust and results.
