About Melina Daniel

Hi! My name is Melina Daniel and I am a USA Taekwondo National Team Member. I have been training since I was 5 years old and have been competing on the national and international stage since age 13. I am working towards achieving my goals of winning World Championships and one day becoming an Olympian. I am also a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, studying for my Master's of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. I previously received my Bachelor's of Science in Sport and Exercise Science/Kinesiology with a minor in Biology, from Seattle University in March of 2022. My interests lie in rehabilitation and the process at which athletes go through to ensure their bodies can withstand performance at a high level. I am passionate about helping others overcome setbacks and accomplish goals they may not have thought possible. My education has also been instrumental in my journey to become a better athlete, myself.
