I am an accomplished bi-lingual (Conversational French, English) management professional with a diverse background that includes volunteer recruitment and management; research; critical thinking; writing; editing; event planning and coordination; case management; workforce development; teamwork; organization and time management. Technical skills include Google Suite, MS Office, Salesforce, Better Impact, and WordPress. I am seeking a position that will leverage my varied skill sets to enhance the marketing and management of a socially-motivated organization. Having worked internationally and with a degree in English, I love meeting new people and hearing and telling stories. I got a taste of one-on-one work at Hopeworks, an organization which gives young people in Camden, NJ the opportunity to prepare for and obtain jobs. I served there as a Jesuit Volunteer, allowing me to unite my faith with an interest in social justice while discerning next steps. My passion is to help individuals and groups overcome obstacles expand their vision of themselves and their communities. My accomplishments include: Managed the initial effort (job descriptions & marketing plan) for recruiting 15 long-term volunteers for 15 different roles. Connected with an outside program to initiate the process of gaining part-time volunteers. Expanded Catholic Charities on-line presence on external volunteer banks. Developed a policy change that lowered barriers for minors’ participation in volunteer events. Planned and produced an annual recognition event for 100+ people. Led a team of 7 in renewing standard volunteer orientation. Developed practices to maintain strong ties with program alumni. Finished 3rd for team in 2015 NCAA Cross Country Championships
