About Melisa Cinar

I've always been fascinated with human behavior and conducted small social experiments whenever possible. Why do we do the things that we do, what shapes us and how? That motivated me to obtain a major in political science to better understand ideologies, institutions, policies and behavior. As I started working in the legal field, I realized that I didn't feel quite fulfilled, something was missing and I needed to do more. Working in the legal field introduced me to world of HR. It was the perfect combination of human behavior and workplace compliance. I truly enjoy working in HR because I want to improve people's professional life, as we spend a lot of time at work. I believe that everyone should love what they do or at least have an enjoyable work experience. I find HR to be a very rewarding career as I feel like I can truly make an impact in the workplace, by engaging with employees and helping organizations thrive. No matter how big or how small the issue I know as an HR professional I’m making meaningful impacts for employers and employees every day.
