About Melissa Baldwin

Melissa Baldwin, CFP® believes financial planning and investing should be understandable and accessible to everyone. She works diligently to guide clients to sound financial decisions over the course of their life so they can feel confident and secure in their finances. Melissa thrives when working on clients’ financial plans and enjoys helping clients to celebrate every time one of their goals is achieved. Melissa first joined SHJ Wealth Advisors in 2008 as a summer intern and continued her internship each summer until she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Finance and Accounting from Western New England College. She joined the SHJ team full-time in 2011 while completing the requirements to attain her CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) certification in May 2013 and became a shareholder in 2019. Melissa leads SHJ’s strategic planning and business development initiatives as well as cybersecurity. She is an essential member of the planning team and brings dedication, care, and passion to her work for every client. Melissa serves on the firm’s Financial Planning Committee and Investment Committee and is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Colorado.
