About Melissa Bennett

Hi, my name is Melissa Bennett. I am a graduate from Conestoga College with a diploma in Health Office Administration, I have in-depth knowledge of health administration and Ontario’s healthcare system and have been working in this field for over 7 years. During my education, I had the opportunity to apply the skills that I have learned in a hands-on workplace environment through a work placement with the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network. I have also succeeded in maintaining a 3.9 G.P.A. and obtaining a perfect attendance record, while working part-time as a college tutor, and taking care of my 2 young children. During this time, I was also a regular volunteer at Grand River Hospital. My strengths are in medical terminology and in my knowledge of technology. I pride myself on being organized and having excellent interpersonal skills. I look forward to contributing in a position using my customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
