Background
About Melissa Brading
I am a dancer/teacher/choreographer and arts administrator living in Lubbock, TX. Whether on the stage, in the classroom, behind the scenes or behind a desk, I am passionate about sharing art and dance with the community. I believe in the healing power of art and I’ve been fortunate to work alongside Avodah Dance to bring dance to women’s prisons and see change among a community who is often forgotten. I love teaching modern dance and exploring the amazing capabilities of the human body and spirit with others. I enjoy supporting those who are making art happen and I like to make art happen myself when the magical forces of time and space come together. I have acquired a variety of office skills, possess a large amount of common sense and love learning new things. I’m always up for a new adventure.
