An extroverted multi-hyphenated creative professional who has built a career adapting to the ebbs and flows of life! Melissa has a rich passion for intentional and charming storytelling and a drive for production and team management and connecting with her community. Portfolio: Since graduating Sheridan College’s Animation program and receiving the Wacom Student Excellence Award for her volunteer leadership roles, Melissa has built steady experience in dependable leadership and team roles within 3D and 2D animation pipelines. She credits her success to her ability to pivot, self-manage, and problem-solve through work and life’s challenges with a positive attitude and sense of humour. She keeps busy through personal creative ventures, from handmade crafts and sketching, and likes to unwind by escaping the hustle and bustle of the city to the green outdoors. She is passionate about connecting and supporting others through open and safe personalized communication, making her a valuable addition to any team setting from a creative artist to a supportive project manager. Melissa has worked with multiple studios in the animation world as Visual Development and Character Designer, including Industrial Brothers, Titmouse, Wildbrain, and Chuck Gammage Animation; Junior Art Director at Linetest Collective, and finally, a solo creative as Children's Book Illustrator.
