About Melissa Comish

I am a calm, competent leader who can be relied upon to oversee business risk day-to-day including management of processes, products and commercial projects. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to have been given diverse opportunities to develop and grow. With a strong technical grounding in Quality Assurance, my responsibilities have expanded over time to include business leadership over functions such as Regulatory Affairs, Consumer Relation escalations and Crisis Management. Often seen as a ‘safe pair of hands,’ I have also played a key role in major business projects. I enjoy partnering senior management to navigate business challenges, but most of all I pride myself in providing robust leadership that protects the business from commercial risk. A pro-active leader and people person I am known for building strong, engaged teams and for leading subject matter experts effectively. Most recently I am proud to have played a key role in maintaining cultural stability and strong governance of Technical Services during the recent sale of the Cerebos business. I was fortunate to be retained by the new Suntory coffee business and have been focusing on establishing the systems and processes for the new entity.
