About Melissa Derheim

As an HR professional, I lead with a people-first philosophy, believing that empowered, well-supported individuals are the key to sustainable success. I strive to cultivate a culture that naturally encourages buy-in—where people feel genuinely connected to the mission, rather than simply being asked to support it. In my experience facilitating training I always infuse creativity and relatability into learning. I believe training should inspire action, not just check boxes. Effective training reaches beyond the textbook. In my additional role as the AS9100 certification manager, I’ve gained valuable experience leveraging that platform to promote quality excellence across the organization. It has provided an incredible foundation to build systems, drive improvement, and raise the standard for performance and accountability. Above all, I'm results-driven and passionate about turning every challenge into a coaching opportunity. My goal is to create a culture where people are valued, supported, and equipped to excel—because when people grow, the business does too.
