Team lead for 5 Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for training and supervising supplier entries to ensure we are in compliance with the federal acquisition regulations. •Manage Internal Audit projects to improve the new supplier approval process to meet or exceed SOX standards. •Work extensively with Microsoft Excel to maintain vendor database, invoice approval process, and record expense transactions. Support internal/external stock holders with YTD spend. •Utilize Oracle & Discoverer systems to record supplier entry, create reports to support tax audits, and to research relevant entries to resolve payment disputes. Develop and manage discoverer queries to support our day to day functions. Assist with ERP system testing, processes, troubleshooting and system improvements. •Direct work flow, supervise and trained vendor management staff.
