About Melissa e Anders
I help women in STEM break burnout habits and break new ground—on their terms. I quit my PhD, still burned out, and it took years to see why. Unlock what I learned by taking this FREE 20 min course to learn the 3 types of work that are secretly wearing you down (4 videos and emails). GO TO LINK -> https://mailchi.mp/melissaeanders/freecourse I quit my PhD to avoid the stress of an academic career only to burn out years later anyway. In this course I unlock the secrets that I learned that will protect you from burnout as a mom who is a leader in STEM. This course isn't another time management or productivity hack. This is a real life, practical way of dealing with what's on your plate that's worked for myself, and other women just like you. I realized my natural coaching ability while working with a Gairdner Award winning Canadian scientist as a program manager. I coached him to streamline his path to success, writing research grants and ultimately garnering more than 50M$ in funding during 15 years of working together. I realized I’d always been a coach at heart, asking questions, listening, and helping people find their own answers since I was very young, but I didn’t know what it was called. There was no “life coach” career trajectory at the time. While in that role I coached anyone that would let me – postdocs, grad students, techs, and others in my role about a variety of topics and challenges and continued coaching my boss to new heights. I started my practice in 2018 to reach more people, especially women. In 2022, I got coached with a transformative coaching method that I couldn’t wait to share with my clients, I got certified in it, and went from 6-month timelines to achieving remarkable 8-week results in these areas for my clients. It went from being an organic to systematic process. Now, I am focussed on helping women in STEM break burnout habits and break new ground—on their terms.
