I am a motivated and passionate vocational rehabilitation professional with a drive to learn and grow in the field of career development. I graduated from Laurentian University's Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Psychology and graduated with Honours, Magna Cum Laude. For 3 consecutive years I received recognition for having the top marks in the psychology program. In addition, I completed a postgraduate certificate through Conestoga College in their Career Development Practitioner program. For the last 8 years I have worked in the field of vocational rehabilitation and it is truly a field that I am passionate about. I enjoy working closely with clients with various types of disabilities or impairments find and retain meaningful and fulfilling employment. I have always been commended on my ability to manage my time well and organize complex tasks and caseloads. In addition, I have been praised for my ability to empathize well with others and provide excellent customer service skills to the clients that I work with. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn and grow in the field of vocational rehabilitation and ways to further my professional development and education.
