About Melissa McCabe

I am a healthcare innovator and holistic registered nurse. I have worked in healthcare for more than twenty-five years and have gained experience in multiple specialty areas. I have a passion for designing processes and programs to improve wellbeing and improve health outcomes. I am a passionate patient advocate and work to assess needs and provide resources to improve outcomes. Wellness and prevention are important to me and I have created programs and activities both in my job and in the community. I have completed a yoga teacher training program, taken a mindfulness class, and learned motivational interviewing to help improve my individual wellness and gain skills to lead and improve the lives of others. I recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a master of Healthcare Innovation with capstone work innovating a wellbeing platform for nurses. I am a postive deviant and use my passion for wellness, nursing experience and education to help transform healthcare.
