About Melissa Melott

People often ask me if I am tired of asking "which is better one or two?" As an Optometrist practicing in Indiana since 1997, I can confidently answer with a no! My practice is so much more than "which is better one or two". As the Clinical Director of TLC Laser Eye Center, a laser vision correction facility, I am able to passionately change peoples lives by delivering better vision. I also am responsible for managing and developing a large doctor referral network. When I started at TLC in the co-management system was in its infancy. I have worked hard to develop extensive peer-to-peer medical relationships in the eye care community and we now have over 250 local affiliated doctors. I spend a lot of time dedicated to presenting medical education and training to health care providers, both locally and nationally. When I am not at the center, in the field or presenting at an educational forum, I am a proud mom of two beautiful daughters. They have taught me how to be patient, kind and love unconditionally. In return, I have taught them dedication, passion and strength, all of which they too can apply to their careers and lives.
