Background
About Melissa Moore
JD Candidate at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, Class of 2025. I am currently a 2L at WashULaw. My curricular activities this year include being a Staff Editor for the Global Studies Law Review, Co-Secretary of Women's Law Caucus, and Careers Committee Chair of the Public Service Advisory Board. I am also continuing to work part-time for the Tekach Law Firm, a DC-based immigration firm, where I spent part of my 1L summer clerking. My other 1L summer position was as a legal intern for the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of Missouri. I am very excited for my upcoming summer position as a Summer Associate with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease in their Columbus office! Prior to law school, I received Graduate Certificate in Global Studies and International Relations from Northeastern University in 2021. I Graduated in 2020 from Emerson College with a BA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing and minors in Political Communication and History. I am originally from Portland, Oregon. I have experience in legal services, social and climate justice non-profits, healthcare, and education. In my spare time, I love to read, hike, bake, and play with my cat.
