About Melissa Orth

Early in my career, I worked in the audit area of a mid-sized accounting firm for businesses ranging with revenues from 100s of million to a few million. My heart and passion lead me to working with smaller business as the Client Accounting Services leader working with a team of experienced accountants processing month and year end close along with compilations. As I developed relationships with small business owners and their internal accounting team, I discovered the most joy in my work. Launching NxtGen Accountants has allowed me to continue to pursue working with owners who want to learn more about their financial statements, provide proactive tax strategies and assist in their growth of their business. I have experience with a variety of industries: manufacturing/distribution, professional service, construction, and technology. When I'm not serving my clients, I enjoy spending time with my two children and husband, playing and coaching volleyball, watching sports, reading, and participating in just about any outdoor activity.
