About Melissa Shields

Having earned my Bachelor of Dermal Sciences in 2019 I have spent the last 4 years working as a Dermal Clinician to develop a high level of both technical laser skill and patient care. Through working alongside some of Australia's most renowned clinicians, registered nurses, general practitioners, and dermatologists, I have become confident in consulting and treating complicated and intricate skin concerns, diseases and disorders.Having found a passion for helping other clinicians to constantly grow their skill, In 2021 I completed a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.This passion continued to grow as I gained experience in overseeing staff training and competency, assisted in development of legal documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, assisted in the development and implementation of internal processes and assisted with stakeholder engagement. Ultimately, I found a love for business.Now 2024 I have begun studying a Masters of Business Administration. I look forward to utilising these skills throughout my career and am excited by the prospect of helping companies to achieve profound success.I welcome all opportunities that may come my way and love connecting with industry peers.
