About Melissa Sleater

I am a highly motivated and personable student attending North Carolina State University where I am a member of the Honors Program. I am pursuing a business administration degree with a concentration in marketing as well as a minor in French. I am interested in a career in sales or consulting. I demonstrate my leadership and strong work ethic in my extracurricular involvement at NC State. I was the Executive Vice President of the Lambda Omicron chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi—the world’s oldest and largest business fraternity. I served as an Account Manager in CMS Consulting where I led a team of 7 to consult for an international business. I was also a Finance Intern for NC State Professor Bartley Danielsen where I demonstrated my cross-disciplinary knowledge between different facets of business processes. This past summer, I was a Sales Intern for Gallagher in Denver, Colorado. I attended client meetings, worked closely with producers, and dove into many insurance and sales related projects. I am passionate about helping business owners and people come to creative and thoughtful solutions to their challenges.
