I'm a strategic communicator with a passion for public health, plain language, and helping people feel informed and supported. Whether I’m writing about tax credits or chronic disease prevention, I focus on making complex topics clear, accessible, and human—especially for rural communities and underserved audiences. With a Master of Science in Nutrition Education and experience in both state service and local public health, I’ve supported communication initiatives that reduce disparities and build trust across systems. I bring curiosity and empathy to every project and work to meet people where they are. As a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I bring empathy, trauma-informed care, and science-backed behavior change strategies to support people in reaching their health goals. I'm currently preparing to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam in October 2025 to further strengthen my work in health promotion and education.
